Club Team Match versus Mile End Golf Club

Just a quick update about the weekends club match played against Mile End Golf Club, Oswestry. After a very hard fought encounter, the overall result was a repeat of last years inaugural match - a draw!

Considering this is still very new to the Club, we continue to have very reasonable results against neighbouring clubs. A very big thank you to all the players who turned out to represent your club and again keep the standard of Lakeside high in the eyes of the golf scene in Powys and Shropshire.

Match Secretary Dougy Anderson would like to convey a special thanks to the team, and we must not forget the hard work and organising that Dougy himself has put into arranging this and all our matches in the past, and indeed future.
