"Practicing" on Golf Course

It has been brought to our attention that some members have been witnessed "practicing" on the golf course. This may sound a peculiar thing to say, however what I mean by this, is individuals playing several (some times as many as six) golf balls from the one spot on the course.

It is also the case that some players have been practicing their bunker shots over and over again, thus causing unecessary disruption to the bunker area.

Although we do not have practice bunker facilities at Lakeside, we do have a small practice area and I am glad to say putting green now available.

Can members be politely requested to utilise the designated areas and "save" the course for "proper" rounds of golf please? Additionally, it is our responsibility as proud members at Lakeside to be vigilant and advise ALL golfers of this request.
