Happy New Year to you all. Lakeside has just celebrated 18 months and we wish to take this opportunity to thank all those golfers and diners for their wonderful support.

A brand new greenkeepers building is currently under construction and our plan is to have it ready in time for the start of the Spring golfing season. The recently completed improvements to the 7th tee look very good and has provided a little more of a challenge.

Club Membership is continuing to grow despite the recent gloomy economic predictions and the new membership year begins from 1st April. It has been decided to continue and hold last year's subscriptions at the same rates for the coming year along with the green fees for non-members.

Our first social evening of the calendar is Burns Night Supper on Saturday 30th January. Following last year's successful evening ticket sales are going well and these are now available from the Clubhouse Office.
